I just came across this site by a guy called Rob Ager who creates reviews/analysis dedicated to films that “have especially well-written scripts and which use complex and advanced psychology to communicate hidden narratives.”

This analysis of the Gold Watch story in ‘Pulp Fiction’ I found quite interesting. While I don’t believe that everything Rob mentions here was actually deliberately placed by Tarantino in his screenplay, I do think that the idea of using subjective themes in filmmaking narrative is something which kick-fires some inspiration. Definitely something worth pondering when working on your next screenplay!
