Benny from Benghazi

On Saturday night we bumped into Benny on the streets of Fremont (Seattle WA). If you have ever been to Fremont you will have noticed Benny’s work. Amazingly balanced rocks (check out this Stranger article). Benny is originally from Benghazi, Libya. He is an “…artist in exile…” In this video, Benny explains the philosophy behind his art.

Unfortunately I had stopped filming at the very end, but as we were walking away Benny told us to keep the thoughts of the Libyan people in mind at this point in time, so please join us in doing so!
